Implementation Specialist

The Implementation Specialist will perform software installation, data base installation, analysis, and technical support tasks for clients. The Implementation Specialist will perform software installation, data base installation, analysis, and technical support tasks for clients. Looking for someone that can provide a high level of professional service by ensuring that clients receive appropriate technical services and education to meet their needs.

This position is open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform project tasks related to the installation and configuration of the software in on-prem and hosted environments
  • Perform project tasks related to the installation and configuration of the database
  • Aid in development of project plans by providing Project Manager with task and resource requirements
  • Schedule and coordinate all assigned tasks and activities with stakeholders and project leader(s)
  • Conduct system testing activities as part of the implementation
  • Conduct product configuration reviews as required
  • Maintain documentation to support the installation
  • Identify, document, and work towards the resolution of all product implementation issues
  • Support team and company initiatives and special projects
  • Support and provide input to product development, documentation, and testing
  • Perform other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Health Care Systems, terminology, systems analysis and implementation.
  • Experience with HL7 and CCDA data formats including parsing of data and data loading
  • Experience with Healthcare integration engines
  • Understanding of Mongo database preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • 3-5 years using integration engines to analyze and move data
  • 3-5 years installing, configuring and supporting complex IT systems and applications
  • 3-5 years working directly with customers to implement commercial software
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Well-organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, self-starter, able to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple duties with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
