Diameter Health and Health Current to Address Clinical Data Quality in Arizona
Arizona’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) Selects Company’s Platform to Normalize and Enrich Clinical Data
Farmington, CT—Diameter Health, a leading enabler of clinical insight through the cleansing, deduplication and enrichment of clinical data across the care continuum, has announced that Health Current, Arizona’s health information exchange (HIE), has selected its Fusion and Analyze applications to automate processes and standardize data interchange between payers, providers, and other constituents.
With clinical data on more than 8.5 million patients, Health Current was looking for a data solution to support HIE participant needs for consolidated patient views and actionable analytics. Now, with Diameter Health’s platform, Health Current can provide aggregated and normalized clinical data to participants in order to help drive better care and better outcomes. The platform’s integration with any certified electronic health record (EHR) will improve and sustain data quality and enable intelligent data exchange across the Health Current network.
“What impressed us about Diameter Health was the ability to scale to support our growth requirements, and Diameter’s devotion to continually improving clinical data,” said Melissa Kotrys, Chief Executive Officer of Health Current. “With Diameter Health by our side, we will continue to raise the bar on data quality and completeness to support the broad range of integrated networks and providers that participate in Arizona’s HIE.”
“Health Current is one of the most innovative, respected and well-established HIEs in the nation,” said Eric Rosow, Chief Executive Officer of Diameter Health. “In partnering with Diameter Health, Health Current has proven its continued dedication to impactful insights and informed value-based care strategies. We appreciate the trust the organization has placed in us and look forward to a long-term relationship.”
Diameter Health’s Fusion application enables Health Current to standardize and enrich clinical data, creating a single, longitudinal patient view to support value-based care models, accountable care initiatives, and improve outcomes along the continuum of care. The Analyze application measures clinical data completeness and accuracy to create instant ratings and inform Health Current’s ongoing quality improvement. Together, the applications will bring Health Current closer to achieving the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Triple Aim: improve patient experience, improve the health of populations, and reduce the cost of healthcare.
