Mary Lantin

General Manager, Availity Clinical Solutions

Mary Lantin serves as Diameter Health’s President and Chief Operating Officer and leads the strategy, product, informatics, client services, finance, and operations teams.

Most recently, Mary served as President and General Manager at Optum Analytics for Payer and Provider Solutions where she oversaw a $200 million line of business with a client portfolio comprising more than 100 payers and 450 providers, in addition to a product portfolio of over 15 solutions.

Prior to joining Optum, Lantin held senior leadership roles at various health information technology companies where she developed and executed strategies for rapid deployment of enterprise-wide analytics solutions. Lantin served as Vice President of Client Services at Humedica, where her operational leadership and focus on client satisfaction scaled the clinical analytics start-up and contributed to Humedica’s acquisition by Optum in 2013.

Mary earned a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a master’s in public health from Harvard University.

As Chief Technology Officer, Harvard is responsible for overseeing the company’s technical strategy and development. He is an experienced technology executive and brings fifteen years’ experience in senior technology leadership roles to Diameter Health.

Most recently, Harvard was Vice President of Engineering for QPID Health, where he managed the development of clinical software that brought needed information within the clinical or administrative workflows directly to the user.

Prior to QPID Health, Harvard was Chief Technology Officer at HealthFortis, working with some of the largest health systems to deliver clinical decision support and referral management applications in the cloud. Before working in the healthcare industry, he served as the Director of Engineering for the Business Intelligence Analytics Server group at Oracle Corporation. Mr. Pan started his career at Siebel Systems, which was acquired by Oracle in 2006.

Harvard earned a BS, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Ashley F. Basile, Ph.D

Chief Product Officer

As Chief Product Officer Ashley is responsible for corporate and product strategy, and leads the product management, clinical informatics, and marketing teams. Ashley brings over fifteen years’ experience in senior product and strategy leadership to her role at Diameter Health.

Ashley previously led product and strategy for Optum’s provider and payer analytic product portfolio, overseeing 8 analytic products and launching a flagship product that leveraged integrated clinical and claims data to support population health management for providers and payers. She also served as Vice President of Client Analytic Services, building a new client-facing analytics team to support large integrated health systems and payer organizations with cost management, provider performance and value-based care delivery. 

Ashley holds a Ph.D. from the Harvard Business School and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in Health Care Management and Policy, where she received multiple teaching awards and published over a dozen articles on healthcare improvement and management, including a Harvard Business School case study used nationwide on implementing collaborative accountable care.

Shelly Daniels leads the Finance and Accounting teams at Diameter Health and provides leadership support to Diameter’s Operations teams.

Prior to joining Diameter Health, she was an Operations leader at Somatus, a value-based healthcare start-up, where she worked on launching many of the initial Operations to deliver care to members with kidney disease.

Prior to Somatus, she spent 11 years at The Advisory Board Company in various accounting and finance leadership functions.  She was key in scaling the revenue accounting processes from $100 million in revenue to $800 million.  She also supported the sale of the company to Optum and Vista Equity Partners.  After the sale of The Advisory Board Company, Shelly spent time at Optum overseeing FP&A for several business units at Optum.

Shelly earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin –Whitewater and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Vice President & Medical Director of Innovation

Dr. Paulo Pinho is Vice President & Medical Director of Innovation for Diameter Health. He provides clinical expertise and thought leadership on existing and emerging regulations, quality measures, healthcare data standards and technologies relevant to Diameter Health solutions.

Prior to Diameter Health, he was the Chief Medical Officer at Optimum Life Reinsurance and the Lead Medical Director for Prudential International Insurance responsible for global innovation for Prudential’s markets in Asia and Latin America. 

Paulo has practiced Medicine for close to 20 years and is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and board eligible in Insurance Medicine. He spent over a decade practicing both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at PASE Healthcare, a medical practice serving over 8,000 patients that he founded and ran as sole proprietor.  As part of his clinical experiences, he has practiced in various care settings globally ranging from  village clinics in Haiti for the underserved, to concierge practice in Singapore.  He remains clinically active, while also heavily involved in public speaking and publication in industry journals.  He is an active volunteer in local and national leadership roles with the Arthritis Foundation and in an organization that provides on-site and remote care to a village-based clinic near Leogane, Haiti. 

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and his medical degree from Rutgers –New Jersey Medical School.

John serves as Diameter Health’s Vice President of Client Services and leads the solution engineering, implementation, data integration, client success, professional services and support teams.  He is a results-oriented and proven leader with a diverse product and operations background.  He brings to Diameter Health over two decades of experience developing, implementing, selling and supporting technologies in healthcare.

Prior to joining Diameter Health, John spent 15 years at Omnicell, Inc., where he held various leadership positions in field operations, sales and product management.  Most recently, he was the Sr. Director of Product Development responsible for the strategy and development of 15 software products within the Automation and Analytics portfolio, including all central pharmacy, supply automation and analytics products.

John earned a BSE, Civil & Environmental Engineering, and a Master in Engineering Management, both from Duke University.
