Cloud Security Engineer

Summary: As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for Information Security Operations and securing our cloud environments.  You will deploy and operate security controls that detect security vulnerabilities and events that pose risk to the organization. Your expertise will help you be a contributor when collaborating across functions within the Security organization other departments such as DevOps, CloudOps, and Product to continuously improve the security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops standards and procedure documents for Security Operations functions.
  • Configure, manage, and monitor security tools including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
  • Configuring, managing, and monitoring Data Loss Protection (DLP), WebApp Firewall (WAF), and firewall rules and monitoring events from these and other security tools.
  • Configuring, managing, and monitoring email filtering rules and events.
  • Performing vulnerability scans and validate remediation of findings.
  • Managing Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Reviewing logs/alerts and responding to events in AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365 tenant, and cloud-based security controls.
  • Working with DevOps and CloudOps teams to implement security controls in our cloud environments.
  • Member of the Security Incident Response Team in investigator role
  • Other SecOps related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Practical knowledge of AWS infrastructure such as IAM, KMS, VPC, EC2, S3, WAF, GuardDuty, CloudTrail.
  • Knowledge/experience with infrastructure-as-code (IAC).
  • Knowledge/experience with securing cloud workloads.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST SP 800-53, HITRUST CSF.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nexpose or Nessus

Desired Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technology field.

Database Administrator (Mongo)

Summary: You will be a member of a small, driven, and growing team focused on developing new features and platform capabilities for the growth of our RESTful API and web-based applications.  You will be supporting production MongoDB, PostgreSQL, internal MS SQL Server database environments in the cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-prem, and assisting engineers to design and implement database solutions. The focus will be on deployment and performance in client environments with coordination with our DevOps, Implementation, and Support teams.

 Responsibilities:

  • Oversee essential database administration – install, configure, upgrade, back up, and monitor all databases.
  • Architect and implement solutions to solve database and application problems that involve database performance, scalability, and data security.
  • Develop advanced database objects, like stored procedures and triggers (T-SQL and PL/pgSQL), to implement database transactions and enforce database integrity.
  • Collaborate with product architecture and development teams to ensure new features are designed and implemented in ways that will ensure successful client deployment.
  • Collaborate with DevOps team on capacity planning, disk space management, redundancy/HA, change management, and overall database operations.
  • Debug production issues brought forth by the Support team.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • 8 or more years of database & software development experience.
  • Advanced understanding of data modeling, index analysis & optimization in both non-SQL (MongoDB) and SQL (PostgreSQL and SQL Server) database environments.
  • Advanced understanding of replication, sharding, partitioning, and performance tuning.
  • Advanced understanding of database ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load). and reporting processes and tools (CloverDX, SSIS/SSRS).
  • Working experience with source code version control (Git).
  • Working experience in AWS/Azure or other public clouds.
  • Proven ability to learn and adapt to change quickly and easily.
  • Experience with healthcare information technology a plus but not required.

Integration Engineer

Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Integration Engineer.  This person will be part of a small team that owns the development and management of a suite of reusable customer workflows that add value to the Diameter Health product suite.  You will be a key member of the Professional Services team who will partner and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, DevOps, Product, Implementation and Support to enable customers to benefit fully from their implementation of Diameter Health solutions and clean clinical data.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Implementation, Support, Product, and our customers, to determine what requests can be addressed through the adoption and use of an integration tool.
  • Design and develop workflows using an integration tool to improve data integration inbound/outbound, data transformation to SQL tools outbound, scheduling and running reports based on customer requirements.
  • Create data extract customizations.
  • Work with Product and Professional Services to develop a commercialization strategy for any added value.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of, or experience with, a programming language such as JAVA or C#.
  • Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience using scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
  • Experience managing and working in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems.
  • Familiar with enterprise database software (SQL, MongoDB).

Product Manager (FHIR)

Summary: Diameter Health is seeking a talented Product Manager to drive the development and execution of the FHIR Product Roadmap. This Product Manager will focus heavily on evolving FHIR with Diameter Health’s existing product suite.  This includes product lifecycle management, which spans a range of strategic and tactical responsibilities that evolve as a product matures.  The product manager must understand and represent the voice of the market to various stakeholders and drive decisions based on this knowledge.

Responsibilities:

These functions span a range of strategic and tactical capabilities that are not needed by all products at all times, but a product manager needs to be competent in each of these areas and should excel in several.  The need to apply various combinations of these capabilities will largely be determined by the stage of a product in its lifecycle.

  • Lead the scrum teams through influence and top-notch execution of agile product development lifecycle
  • Understand market problems and our unique ability to address them
  • Product roadmap and portfolio prioritization and socialization
  • Create compelling documentation that reflects what we are building, why we are building it, and how it links to strategic priorities

Regional Vice President, Payer Solutions

Summary: We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual with strong healthcare technology sales experience to drive growth in our fastest growth segment. The Regional Vice President of Payer Solutions is a senior level sales position, responsible for driving growth through direct sales efforts into the payer market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales plans to meet growth targets and strategic business objectives, including growing the payer sales pipeline.
  • Grow market share with assigned large and regional health plans.
  • Own and drive sales process to accelerate and optimize revenue opportunities in the payer market for assigned accounts and territory.
  • Execute payer sales strategy through go-to-market planning, lead generation, pipeline management, proposal creation and individual business plans.
  • Participate in strategic decision-making about corporate strategy, product portfolio, marketing priorities, business development and other sales planning.
  • Work with management to develop pricing models and negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers that lead to high margin business opportunities for the company.
  • Identify and engage appropriate decision makers and key influencers within a prospective client: in particular, those responsible for clinical data acquisition & integration/interoperability, innovation, analytics, and quality and risk programs.
  • Assess and capture key enterprise needs of prospective customer and position the Diameter Health value proposition in a compelling way.
  • Quarterback internal activities in support of customer pursuits and coordinate and manage product demonstrations and customer meetings to ensure alignment with customer needs.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • 8+ years of healthcare technology sales experience, including selling to payers.
  • Ability to leverage existing payer relationships, including National and regional payers.
  • Proven track record in selling into Anthem/Blue Cross & Blue Shield organizations.
  • Successful track record of hitting and exceeding sales quota.
  • Understanding of clinical data and its relevancy to payers.
  • Proven ability to marshal internal resources when needed and operate autonomously.
  • Knowledge of CCDs (Continuity of Care documents) and how they are used.
  • Experience selling both application and middleware solutions preferred.
  • Ability to articulate a vision, influence others, plan and organize resources, and deliver results.

Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary: As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Diameter Health, you will be working with our Director of Cloud Infrastructure and Operations to configure, streamline, and improve our overall cloud infrastructure within multiple independent clouds. The ideal candidate is:

  • An expert in 24/7 operations with high performing and scaling systems that meet a high degree of
  • An expert in all facets of Cloud hosting operations with a focus on lean architecture and cost savings.
  • An expert in Python, or another programming language, with a deep passion for automation.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with the Director of Cloud Infrastructure and Operations on infrastructure architecture and planning as it relates to scalability and cost savings
  • Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders on product improvements
  • Facilitate meetings with the DevOps team and Engineering teams on infrastructure changes
  • Create/finalize automation in an effort to enable our infrastructure and IT systems to be more scalable and lower our manual labor overhead
  • Provide root cause analysis of high visibility production incidents
  • Create action plans to mitigate total infrastructure growth/footprint where possible
  • Act as the primary contact for changes to procedures or infrastructure/architecture
  • Keep up to date documentation of core responsibilities and current projects
  • Create and maintain SOPs relating to infrastructure and systems responsibilities
  • Generate and provide recommendations on optimizing usage of Cloud services
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices including continuous monitoring
  • Participate in the Cloud Well Architected Framework to support overall operations initiatives
  • Develop automated reporting that enables teams to leverage best practices for running efficient Cloud solutions
  • Partner with Engineering, DevOps, and Client Services on CI/CD and automated deployment and event management
  • Identify key procedures that can be automated and automate them
  • Act as a backup to the Cloud Engineer(s) and to support our core internal software/IT systems

Knowledge or Skills:

  • Serverless computing experience with containers (AKS/EKS) and VM based workloads along with a solid understanding of the trade-offs of different serverless implementations emerging in public Cloud.
  • Heavy background in software engineering/scripting with a focus on python development for use in automating deployment procedures.
  • Deep understanding of the key concepts and practices of Cloud observability, coupled with experience implementing robust systems that leverage metrics, logs, and traces to provide holistic state of the Cloud operations.
  • Deep understanding of how to apply best practices around monitoring, alerting, logging and have implementation experience with one or more (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, AppInsight, Log Analytics, Splunk, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, etc…).
  • Knowledge of monitoring systems for infrastructure monitoring as well as application performance monitoring including SLAs/KPIs and reporting approaches for the multi-cloud platforms.
  • Partner with Engineering team to design key concepts and practices of observability, coupled with experience implementing robust systems that leverage metrics, logs, and traces to provide understanding of system state.
  • Experience with and enthusiasm for operating in an agile DevSecOps oriented organization and culture.
  • Plan and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) and Failover simulations to demonstrate adherence to SLAs.
  • Skill and knowledge in ITIL processes related to Incident Management, Service Requests, Event Management, Access Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management and Escalated Incident Management.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Monitoring Platforms that simplify financial management, help streamline operations, and strengthen security & compliance (eg. CloudHealth, Apptio, CloudCheckr, etc).

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a software engineer implementing, testing and debugging.
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS infrastructure in a senior engineer capacity.
  • Experience in containerized deployment using Kubernetes.
  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience running Cloud at scale.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, or other similar technologies.
  • Deep scripting knowledge using Python (preferred), Perl, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages.

Bonus Points:

  • AWS DevOps Engineer (professional level) certification.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Experience with hosting government solutions (eg. AWS GovCloud).
  • Experience with DynamoDB and other similar technologies.
